(the 2-port connector that plugs into the telephone wall-socket) Fax will not work on the "ADSL line" side of the microfilter. All analogue functions, such as phone and fax, must pass through the "phone" side of the microfilter. While fax is theoretically digital, its really not, and so must pass through the analogue side of the microfilter. Hope this helps. Robin </BODY> </HTML>
