Hi Frans<br>I could ping all the ip's you quoted. Then I changed the DNS to the 208.67.222.222 and it worked!<br>I still do not understand why this particular DNS worked - when the DNS I had for MWEB 196.43.34.190 does not work?<br>

can you ping 208.67.222.222 from the laptop?<br>

make sure what is the ip adres for the dns server you have on the laptop<br>
and the windows machine, if it's set automatically try setting it manualy,<br>
<br>
Google's DNS is 8.8.4.4<br>
Open DNS use 208.67.222.222<br>
