Does that show when you open the xls file, or the embedded object? If on the ojbect, then maybe you just need a image viewer associated with .tiff files under WINE. I installed <a href="http://www.irfanview.com/">Irfanview</a> and during setup, you choose to associate it with image files. (note that irfan requires mcf windows files, like most other wine-run apps, which you can add using <a href="http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks">winetricks</a>) - I cant promise this will let you open the images within excel through WINE, but worth a try.<br> <br>Sorry you have to deal with this, OLE objects are criminal and one of the extreme caveats switching over to Linux :(<br></div></div><br>
