[ubuntu-za] Encryption at rest

Good day all

As the subject line entail, I need to find a solution to encrypt our samba
server, the backup server, exchange, etc.

Does anybody have a document on how and what you are using?

Obviously you can't have samba encrypted if accessing daily files, but say
if the server does go down and boots back up again, you need to decrypt the
samba folders.

But what is there else? I presume some kind of desktop endpoint software is
needed?
