Hi Mike,

If you have not done this already

If the app is 32 bit, and you using 64 bit

Look here : https://www.unixmen.com/enable-32-bit-support-64-bit-ubuntu-13-10-greater/

Hope this helps

William

Subject: [ubuntu-za] Striata Reader

Hi All,

I've been doing battle with the Striata reader so that I can read the .emc files that are sent by Absa bank. I've tried on 2 different laptops running Ubuntu 16.04 64bit with no success: The Striata icon appears for a moment and then dissappears again.

However, this morning I did get it to work on an old PC running Lubuntu 16.04 32 bit, which is interesting! So, I think the issue could be with the 64bit installer (but I don't see any errors!).

Are any of you familiar with this? It is really starting to annoy me!

Many thanks,

Mike Stroud
