Hi All,

May I make the suggestion that you install 16.04, I know that it has not been released yet, but it should work, It should be released 21 April 2016

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/XenialXerus/ReleaseSchedule

I am using 16.04 on my desktop and laptop, it has LibreOffice 5.1 ( in universe ), been working fine for me

For the PHP developers, it also has PHP7.0 ( in universe )

It still looks like 15.10, but should start looking like 16.04 in a few weeks

To download daily-live : http://ubuntu.mirror.ac.za/ubuntu-cdimage/daily-live/current/

William

Please look for a PPA before installing anything from source.

https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/libreoffice-5-1

Cheers,
