[ubuntu-za] What to install on an oldish HP Pavillion dv6500 Notebook

Hi

I've installed Ubuntu 15.10 on an oldish MSI U100plus netbook. The
version I'm using is on an LDXE desktop with the software as suggested
by Karl and others. It runs fine.
