Hi Gustav,

Try Booktype here : http://booktype-demo.sourcefabric.org/
If you could, create an account, Play around, and give us feed back.

Hopefully, many people will be contributing to this Documentation User Group, possibly lots of users who just wants things to be easy.

William

This is a very interesting debate.

I haven't really tried the others but so far am leaning towards
learning Sphinx as it seems relatively easy to use and looks very
powerful with the use of reStructuredText. It produces beautiful and
clean output in multiple formats but, having said that, I struggle to
see many users going down this route when they are so used to WYSIWYG
in modern word processors.

Real collaborative editing remains a challenge even on smaller
projects and the big hurdle is often not just the technology but also
the human factors. I just wish it was easy to let people unlearn the
idea of emailing bulky documents back and forth and let everyone agree
on using platform independent open standards with proper distributed
version control for documentation with the ability to use it in both
online and offline modes.

Regards,
Gustav
