[ubuntu-za] A new laptop for Ubuntu without windows

Hi everyone,

Casper has a very good idea. Perhaps we could arrange some kind of peaceful
protest against it? I would love to take part. We would raise awareness
about alternative software (read Ubuntu / GNU Linux) at the same time.
Surely there is something that we, as a community, can do. I myself have
not bought a laptop for the very reason that I don't want to buy Windows.

A quick Google search turned up this page:
http://www.southafrica.info/services/consumer/consumer.htm#.UQOYC337vac
It has useful links to various consumer related bodies; I haven't
thoroughly looked at it though.

Regards,
Karl / Cantide
