[ubuntu-za] Auto-hide launcher disables itself

Is there somebody in the community who can help me out on this one, please?

The auto-hide function for the launcher in my Ubuntu 12.10 disables 
itself on a regular basis, perhaps two or three times per day. Then I 
have to open "system settings" and go to "behaviour" to re-set it. 
Sometimes it disables immediately, even before I can close the 
"behaviour" window.
