Hi All,

I started using 12.04 Alpha 2 last Friday

If you don't like Unity, then you can install the Classic (fallback) GNOME session in Ubuntu 12.04

look here : http://www.webupd8.org/2012/02/more-classic-gnome-session-lands-in.html

Hi Miles,

If you live in the Durban area, I have the 10.04, 11.10, and 12.04 repos

Hannes, Getting the repo is something I will have to hope my son
can get at some stage. might take a couple/few months.
If I do your option 3) will sudo apt-get update then update from my
externals /media/storage/packsM/
Thanks for the effort you have put into this thread
Miles
