The README.PDF given in the link gives 3 methods:

1) in Windows using their update tool (not our preference)
2) in BIOS (for 2009+ mainboards) see readme
3) OS-independent bootable CD provided by Intel

option 2- your board has updates not before 2010 so should support this.
option 3- http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-022312.htm

Post on hardware support forums first, get a second opinion on this.
