Hi there Mr G

Got the Nvidia installer from http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux-display-ia32-173.14.31-driver.html

 I stopped gdm

When running installer I get the error,

"The distribution provided pre-install script failed, Continue yes / no"

I assume it is not very safe to continue.

I also found the following links:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/Nvidia

http://www.webupd8.org/2010/06/how-to-install-nvidia-25635-display.html

Which one of the links above will be the best to follow:

 Setting up multimonitors:

Regards
Nico

I suspect it has to do with how Unity handles the two screens but I haven't looked into it in any great detail... Just felt I needed to give a heads up.
