Hi Hannes & Arthur,

Thanks for your input! The link for Grub2 is extremely helpful. Commands
for UUID identification I know. However with my limited knowledge I
don't know how to either change the UUID to the one that mondo has on
the backup,(the external hard drive)or how to change the system from
UUID to /dev/sdax as was advocated by someone on a mint forum. He gave
instructions that worked on 8.04 and 10.04's file system has changed.
