Then comes chapter 2 "2000-2010" :

Stage 11: Gaming on Windows
Stage 12: Virus on Windows
Stage 13: At last a stable version of Windows (XP)
Stage 14: "Mammon slept. And the beast reborn spread over the earth
and its numbers
grew legion. And they proclaimed the times and sacrificed crops unto the
fire, with the cunning of foxes. And they built a new world in their own
image as promised by the
sacred words, and spoke
of the beast with their children. Mammon awoke, and lo! it was
naught but a follower."
Stage 15: You get an EEE PC, an XBox, a broadband connection with
Gmail. And you never need to boot Windows again. Honestly.
Stage 16: Your boss walk in with a brand new Vista PC and you spend
the next 2 days updating it.
