[ubuntu-za] Failed RAID boot

Hi Charl

About 4 yrs ago I was asked to help with a software raid setup.
No luck. Eventually they bought a hardware raid card.

My suggestion is to have small boot partition (/boot) that is not 
software raid.
This partition will be able to load the kernel, initialize your software 
raid setup and then boot.
