I would love to do the above on my Linksys WRT54GL. Please give me some 
pointers on how you did the "install HTML Files into a directory and got the 
unit to host a website".
WinSCP ? can this not be done from Ubuntu 10.4? Using my laptop connected via 
my cell phone?
