Looks like the tutorial is incorrect then:
"If the installer is done and has rebooted into your new system you will be 
 able to boot your first Thin Client right away"

I guess I'll have to do it the hard way then. :-(  or maybe I should try the 
same thing with Edubuntu ;-)
