[ubuntu-za] No sound

Where do you stay/work

Possibly someone close to you has the repos

I am from Durban, so if you are close, I have the repos ( as of aprox 3 hrs ago )

I must thank everyone for the help that you have given me. There is no
light on the horizon yet, but I will keep trying. Unfortunately, it is
more lucrative for me to spend some time on stuff that pays :-(

One thing that I have picked up is that I seem to be running an older
version of the driver.

Driver version:     1.0.21
Library version:    1.0.22
Utilities version:  1.0.22

(This may be because I downloaded on the 29th April and may have got
the RC version. I was trying to get in with my April bandwidth!)

How can I just update the driver?
