Hi Alf,
I don't know the JPilot, but Google syncs contacts with my Sony Ericsson
P1 perfectly. I runs Symbian (same as Nokia) so I don't foresee any
problems on that side. Calendar does NOT sync with the P1, but Google's
support for Nokia is better, so check their site for that function.
If I were you, I'd try to sync the JPilot and see if there's anyone who
can advise on the Nokia side, including the Google help.
There are a number of utilities to convert various vCard and other formats
to Google's specific CVS import format. I used one and it worked
perfectly.
Google's merge contacts function is excellent and I do most of my updates
on the PC and then sync back to my phone.
For even better functionality, have you considered an Android phone? My
wife has the HTC Tattoo (R119/month from MTN) and it is astounding!
Cheers
Tim
