Hi All

I can confirm
http://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-unstable_current_i386.deb
Is running fine on my Gnome HArdy 8.04 i386 laptop, had to update a few
depends i.e. libnss etc, But It certainly runs much leaner than FF,20
tabs without breaking a sweat. I've found one or two minor irritations
like not opening links from Other appz etc.
But overall on my memory starved machine I'm happy so far.

BTW, the PPA installed but seg faulted, after 10 secs everytime.
