[ubuntu-za] Sugar on Ubuntu

Hello David,

I have ubuntu 8.10 and I got sugar working. It took a little bit of effort,
such as installing all the packages below and running sugar (or
sugar-emulator ??) as root. My LANG was en_ZA.UTF-8

It took me a while to figure out I must push the pointer off screen for some
some menus to appear. And I wasn't able to run tamtam.
