* Can't just buy a new PC with Windows and start using it. No, it needs
updates and more updates.
* Retype their addressbook because the email on the old PC wasn't
transferred over because it was stored in a hidden folder or the old PC used
Outlook and the new PC only has Outlook Express. Then they instantly start
using gmail.
* Can't open the docx files because they only have Word 2003. Then it's
cheaper to buy an EEE PC and convert the documents to Word 2003 with Open
Office, than it is to buy the new MS Office.

There was talk that oil production peaked in 2008 and will from now on
slowly decline. Perhaps the same is true for Microsoft earnings.
