[ubuntu-za] automatic software updates

Hi Mark

The units are very limited on space, total between 32MB and 64MB.  I'm
using various models for different projects including Moxa ARM9, Cirrus
Logic ARM9 and Intel Xscale.  I can add as much CF as I like, but I
rarely need to.
