BUT, all of these google sites gives me the information I already have,
i.e. what to do in PHP.  What it doesn't give me is how to setup
postfix/sendmail/whatever!  

I'm actually looking for a "simple" postfix/sendmail/whatever howto that
tells me how to send an e-mail to a remote mail server.  Any ideas on
that?
