I have the AspireOne A110, and I'm very happy with it. The only possible
negatives are the battery life of 2 hours, and that the SSD isn't
particularly fast. The keyboard is quite usable after a little while, and the
display is a decent size and resolution. I think that it's great value for
money and is finally at the price point which netbooks should be at.

The 512MB RAM is fine if not doing anything too hectic. I wouldn't run
OpenOffice on it, but it's perfect for Firefox and some terminals. The 8GB
flash is also fine unless you're wanting to store movies and whatnot. The
AspireOne has two SD card slots, so the one can be used for permanent extra
storage if necessary.

Correct, I'm running UNR on mine. I occasionally have problems with the
wireless chip not working after resume, but otherwise Ubuntu runs perfectly.
