Hi Glenn
All is not lost. Lovely machine!, the only prob is ubuntu somehow 
refuses to load the cpqarray driver needed to *see* the drives.
There is a thread on Ubuntuforum outlining the install for dapper and 
feisty.
It basically entails inserting the cpqarray drv on startup, and 
recompiling the initrd.

Ps: Don't be fooled by old, this baby it was built when they could still 
make servers.
