I think the language was called StarBASIC, but I don't know if
they've renamed it since then.

This is an article about various macros etc. available for
OpenOffice.org.  It also includes links to information related
to writing your own macros.  I have never written an
OpenOffice.org macro, so I can't say how useful this information
is.
