Hi Bradley,

IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat, a mechanism for communication (chat)
between multiple users.

For information of how IRC works, visit www.irchelp.org an excellent
information site.

I personally use XChat, which is installed by default in Ubuntu. If you
are running another distribution, you should find XChat available from
their repositories. A Windoze version can be found at
http://www.xchat.org/ .
