[ubuntu-x] X seems good on G31 with karmic alpha 4

I'm not a serious graphics user -- my idea of cool 3d graphics
is extreme tux racer -- but I'd been having trouble
getting any useful 2d display out of a system with
"Intel Corporation 882G33/G31 Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 10)",
an e7300 cpu, and Ubuntu 8.10 (and maybe 9.04).  Installing
Karmic Alpha 4 was problem-free, and the graphics seem
fine.  Tux Racer seems very smooth.

Not much of a data point, but there you go.
