Welcome. I love your story! I'd say training the 'next gen' to love Linux is a fabulous contribution. We'll be introducing our son to it (he turned 2 last week) when he's old enough. However, I do sing (well, not actually sing - that would not do any good for anyone) the praises of Linux and in particular Ubuntu to anyone willing to listen. I am going to install Ubuntu 8.04 to my first born's computer next week. And my two other kids have had experience of Ubuntu over the years. And I have given my old cds and dvds to other people. So, in my small way I am trying to spread the use of Linux. I have just bought a new computer (I thought I'll do it before all my money runs out, which is happening fast, on the work on the house, hehe) without any operating system on it and installed Ubuntu 8.04 64 bit version. All is going fine apart from small problems with the clock/calendar and resizing button in Firefox. I assume those little things will be sorted out in due course. I hope this is not too long. I tend to be a bit verbose - one of my very few faults :) - once I get to the keyboard.
