Hello Una!

It's great to have you here, and it is always good to have UI designers!
Especially since our website is getting a much needed update - but we need
everyone's help.

Right now, the website is old, and there's another problem - the production
server it's on, which is run by Canonical, is getting retired. (full
disclosure - I'm also the Ubuntu Community Representative and work for
Canonical, but most of what I do here is as a community member.)

But the old site with all its info isn't just going away! What will happen
is it will migrate to a new site, and instead of a MoinMoin wiki, we'll use
Discourse, similar to discourse.ubuntu.com. During the transition, we'll
need to move the old info from the old MoinMoin into the new site by
copying and pasting it. Not the most efficient way, but it means all the
info will live on - and even better, it's in a new place we can build on,
if we want to.

So, who here wants to help migrate content to the new site once it's ready?
Many hands make light copying and pasting?

And, who would be interested in helping with the site in the future, either
making UI or being a moderator or admin or planning or writing content?
It's okay to reply even if your answer is 'Well, maybe?"

Cheers,

Monica
