Okay, I think today will not work, unless you can do it at 7 PM EST.
And also we ran to problems as this log says:
"
[16:58] 18<27silverlion> [17:44:53] what's the intention with
this questionaire?
[16:59] 31<belkinsa>30 It's to provide a direction for new people
to get involved.
[17:00] 31<belkinsa>30 silverlion,
http://blog.ubuntu-women.org/2014/08/calling-for-testers-for-orientation-quiz/
[17:01] 18<27silverlion> I know that post
[17:06] 18<27silverlion> but what I don't understand is the
questions. If you want to reach out for people this three little
questions will not surfice in my opinion
[17:07] 31<belkinsa>30 We are working on a larger one here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ds5VKE9Dj-mYJnJ459YQk9DDdJ_ihZFJT-23jr4XV9c/edit#gid=0
[17:07] 31<belkinsa>30 The code and the quiz is the base one.
[17:11] 21<silverlion>21 belkinsa : what's the next step on this
one?
[17:11] 31<belkinsa>30 Finish adding the "Are you a Developer or
Not" and have it point to things then update the code with the new one.
I'm working on getting dates and times for the coding sprint.
[17:12] 31<belkinsa>30 All of the updates will happen on the
mailing-list: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/Ubuntu-Women
[17:13] 31<belkinsa>30 After those steps are done, we will make
another call for testing.
[17:13] 21<silverlion>21 belkinsa : may I suggest that before
the coding you get the questions ready first?
[17:14] 31<belkinsa>30 They are ready but not the developer one.
[17:14] 31<belkinsa>30 Everything is on that martix.
[17:14] 18<27silverlion> because there is a simple rule in
coding: "form follows function" which means you need to have the backend
and the questions ready before going into that sprint
[17:15] 31<belkinsa>30 The coding one or the testing?
[17:16] 18<27silverlion> the coding one
[17:16] 31<belkinsa>30 And what do you mean by backend?
[17:16] 18<27silverlion> because the code can only work when you
have a flowchart on how things should work
[17:16] 18<27silverlion> backend == the processes (aka the
interaction with the users)
[17:17] 31<belkinsa>30 I think the code has a flow but it's weak.
I feel like it needs to be re-written.
[17:17] 18<27silverlion> there is no flow at all
[17:17] 18<27silverlion> at least from what I saw till now
[17:18] 31<belkinsa>30 We just grabbed it from the Italian LoCo
(with permission of course).
[17:19] 31<belkinsa>30 I would suggest that you bright this up to
our mailing list as there might more people there.
[17:20] 18<27silverlion> I am not sure if I am the right person
on that list
[17:20] 31<belkinsa>30 But you will bring up the discussion to
the rest and start the ball rolling.
[17:22] 21<silverlion>21 belkinsa : well honestly my screen is
already loaded with stuff to do
[17:22] 18<27silverlion> I was just talking to you as my friend
to give you some insights on what could possibly go wrong here
