hi everyone,
I just joined the ubuntu-women group and thought I'd introduce myself...
My name is Genny, in my mid 20's and I'm from Vancouver, BC. I've been
using Ubuntu for the year and a half; I was using 10.04 before and just
installed 11.10 and finding it very different then what I'm use to! I'm
part of the Vancouver Ubuntu Loco group (
http://www.meetup.com/ubuntuvancouver/) and I also visit Free Geek (
http://freegeekvancouver.org/) whenever I need free tech support since they
are so helpful. I'm not in the computer science field, but i'm very
computer savvy; i was the one as a teenager that introduce and got my
parents/sisters addicted to Open Office and Mozilla Firefox and continue to
help out from time to time.
