Hi everyone :)
I'm Ayn Belonio from the Philippines. I have an IT degree, and am now
working as a technical writer and tester at a Cebu-based company. It was
only two years ago that I discovered Ubuntu. (Sadly, while I was in college,
we had none to little exposure on opensource software). Having used Ubuntu
for two years, I find it as one of the best alternatives to commercial
operating systems.
I've just learned about the Ubuntu Women Project via a tweet from Planet
Ubuntu. I was so thrilled to find out about this specific community of
Ubuntu users (women!) that I signed up for this mailing list. I've been
meaning to contribute to the development of Ubuntu-Linux, at the same time,
wanting to learn more about this OS; and i think there is no better way to
do that but to be part of this community.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to your feedback, suggestions, or questions :)
- Ayn
