[UbuntuWomen] Important Dates for February 2010

Hi all!

What a busy January!  I hope everyone is settling into routines and
2010 is shaping up to be an awesome year!  :-)

Here are some important Dates for February, so please mark your calendars:

1 - Voting ends of February 4, 2010 on the issue of IRC Purpose and
Logging.  If you have not done so please vote before the 4th.

2 - The next meeting will be Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 2100UTC in
#ubuntu-women.  If you have anything you feel should be added to the
agenda please do so at

3- International Women's Day Competition -  Ends February 22, 2010. If
you haven't taken the time to tell us your story please consider doing
so soon as the deadline for entries is approaching.

women or girls you know who use ubuntu.

4. SCaLE 8x is February 19-21, 2010 -
http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale8x/ - For those of you from the
Team who are attending there will be a WIOS and Ubucon events on
Friday the 19th.  If you are attending any of the SCaLE events let
take a moment and get together. I created an events wiki but please
feel free to tweak it and add to it.
