Hi there,

I am Ankita, an undergrad (for 2 more days) , at The University of South
Pacific (USP) in Fiji. I tend to move around quite a bit and have been in
Fiji for about a year again.

I've been listening in on this list for a couple of months now, mainly
because i was a bit apprehensive of making a mistake in an email, but I
guess this is my formal introduction thing. I've only been using ubuntu
since february this year, but have been using other foss like openoffice and
using linux boxes predominantly through uni. I'm a bit of a local foss
activist at USP and have been having small stalls on my own at Open Day and
even tonight at our ICT symposium, mainly just trying to create an awareness
of foss in general here in the South Pacific.

I just saw Sara's email regarding a project making games in Linux ^_^ I've
only been using Linux since this February but would love to get involved in
any way really. As I finish exams in 2 days I would have lots of time for
other projects (apart from post-grad applications that is!). Sounds like
fun, Sara, I look forward to receiving more info about the project.

Thanks everyone!

Have a nice day
Kita
