Packaging is a good and fairly easy way to get into Ubuntu development.  And 
it doesn't require programming knowledge (it can help, but you can always ask 
someone to review a patch you're applying anyway).  At least...it's easier 
than learning to program ;)  

For anyone not aware, the primary duty of the Masters of the Universe (MOTU) 
is packaging.  And MOTU are Ubuntu Developers.  So, if you've wanted to be a 
UD and thought a lack of programming-fu prevented it, think again.
