My opinion is the audience should be: people using Ubuntu, interested
in the broad topic of female participation to Ubuntu.
So in my opinion the targeted audience should be multi-gender, but all
have a same curiosity.

Yes: those who tend to read what is now on the front page.

I like the formal tone: it communicates 'something important is going
on here' (which is), instead of 'we are a set of females assembled for
tea, giggling and gossiping but do not expect us to deliver anything
of value apart from that'.

Just a shot, hopefully commented and supplemented by others:
- who are we, what we aren't
- what can you find here
- UW's goal
- list of activities you can participate in
- pointers to mailing list, IRC, launchpad
- good pointers to related info (like now)
