It happens pretty often on IRC, if the folks in #u-w either can't or are
too busy to answer a question, it will get re-directed to the main
channels.

Regarding http://wiki.ubuntu-women.org/Profiles ,  what about putting an
additional "techie interests" column after the "Ubuntu Participation"
one for members to indicate what their, well, technical interests? I've
been involved "from the sidelines" a couple of FOSS projects for several
years, hanging out in their irc channels, implementing them
professionally, etc :) and I think it'd be worth noting that.  It'll
also have the side-effect of making it clear that we are (mostly) all
techies and advanced users, even if we're not known in the community.
