My son introduced me to the UBUNTU community and to this philosophy.
It's really interesting what is happening in the world, something really new, when and where people can be together by the internet and w/open sources. Thanks for the conections.
If you find some strange english...i'm brazilian...
See you

Typically Ubuntu users use OpenOffice:
http://www.openoffice.org/
With OpenOffice you can open MS Office documents and save yours in MS
Office formats.
But if you absolutely have to run MS Office, you might want to check
out the commercial product CrossOver Office:
http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxoffice/
You buy this emulation software, then install your copy of MS Office
on top of it. According to the website it supports Office 97, 2000, XP
and 2003.
Good luck.
