Lesley,

Welcome! It is wonderful to see someone with interest at that cross-section
between education & Ubuntu / Edubuntu.

I also have a background in education, but am currently building hardware
specifically for Ubuntu. I am actually in Berkeley, California, an area
known historically for being a hub of F/LOSS development, but our schools
here use (cringe) Windows.

What has been your experience in the UK?
