UW list archives does have this thread[2] but since the subject line
of a previous post by Yolynne Medina[1] was erased (as opposed to
composing a new message from scratch), the archives are the way they
are.

Since most women to UW are newcomers, its something anyone can miss
and we are (currently) not strict about it .

While on this subject, do you all think we need to implement such
things strictly ?
FWIW, Ubuntu Women has a list etiquette, which goes out to people when
they first subscribe here.
