Greetings all,

My name is Liz, i currently live in new zealand.

Ive been running different dist of linux for 6 years now. currently
running ubuntu 5.10. only just got another pc tuesday, and once i get
that online, ill upgrade to dapper.

ive used a variety of distros, and half the time i have no idea what
im doing, but i was told its a learning curve, and im confident enough
in some aspects of it to keep on using it and learning with it.

ive been a linux chix for a while, tho im not terribly active there. i
was a sydney linux chix till i moved back to new zealand and there
isnt much linux wise or chix wise here at the moment. i might be
looking in the wrong place tho.

my partner isnt a linux person, and isnt even a good windows person,
he just likes to play games on all of them tho. even on my linux
machine that he doesnt like too much. hehe. i built my son a machine,
and forced him to use windows. mainly cause he goes to too many sites
that have spyware and virus's. he complains its not as pretty as
windows, but at least he doesnt have to worry about virus'

ok ive waffled on a little too much.
