[UbuntuWomen] publicizing a conference

Marcelle,
I'm sorry; I wanted to keep my question general ("How can I publicize an
open-source event?"), because it didn't seem proper to use the Ubuntu-Women
list to actually do my publicizing. It's not an event announcement list,
after all.
Anyway, PyCon is one of two major annual conferences covering Python
(EuroPython is the other). It'll be held in Dallas, Texas in 2007. Python
is an open-source programming language used heavily by the Ubuntu project.
There's more information at http://us.pycon.org/ ... but again, this isn't
the right place for me to actually advertise the conference.
