Good to hear. :)

Does anyone here have experience of these support avenues?

It would be good if we could recommend them. :)

Also good if we can give them useful feedback.

Is there an Ubuntu wiki [1] where we could have an Ubuntu-Women page,
and generally collect some helpful info?

We did this at Gnome-Women, had a basic intro. page about the group,
then translated it. We could then add to that.

Debian-Women has a much more detailed site + wiki, which have also
been translated. I remember, once I translated the D-W wiki, I got a
very excited email from an older Vietnamese woman just starting to
use a computer, who had idly put "Vietnamese" and "woman" (in
Vietnamese) into Google and had been absolutely astonished and
delighted to find any information she could understand. I love it
when that sort of positive contact happens. :D

So, what say we have a wiki page? I'm happy to help. The great thing
about a wiki, is that we can all contribute bits and pieces when we
have time. D-W has a password for its wiki, which is supplied to list
members by other list-members in private email on request. G-W
doesn't have a password, and so far hasn't had any spam problems,
because you have to register on the Gnome Live wiki anyway, and it
seems nobody has bothered to do so only to leave spam. Wikispam,
however, is a growing problem.

Ideas? :)

bugs at Launchpad. ;)

However, that means I can represent a newish user very well! :D
