[l-ubuntu-ve] Problemas con actualizaciones ubuntu 12.04 LTS

ayer intenté actualizar los paquetes en mi ubuntu 12.04 por medio del
gestor de actualizaciones, y me llevé la sorpresa de que varios paquetes
fallaron:

Inicialmente pensé que el servidor estaba caído, así que hice ping a:

http://ve.archive.ubuntu.com
http://security.ubuntu.com

pero ambos respondieron el ping y resolvieron por el navegador tambien....
luego intenté bajar algunos paquete directamente.... como para ver que
sucedia.... y la respuesta fué: not found...!! (elemplo:
http://ve.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/a/apport/apport_2.0.1-0ubuntu11_all.deb
)
por ultimo, intenté acceder a la carpeta, donde se supone está dicho
paquete (http://ve.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/a/apport/) y si la
muestra, al igual que una lista de varios paquetes...

por lo que deduzco que el problema está en las direcciones suministradas
para actualizar.....

la pregunta es:

*Como arreglo eso...? o hay que reportarlo como bug?*
