[l-ubuntu-ve] Problemas con Unity

Estimados compañeros, espero me puedan ayudar con el siguiente problema:
Tengo un pc con Pentiun 4 CPU 2.66GHz. 1 gb de ram. y he instalado
Ubuntu 11.04 y no me funciona Unity. Dice que el sistema tiene pocos
recursos para esta opcion, solo logro arrancar con Gnome Clásico sin
efectos. Es acaso que mi hardware no lo soporta? Hay alguna Opción.
