[utah-devel] lab monitoring

I was wondering what type of monitoring we have set up in our lab, and 
thought it might make a generally interesting topic. The reason I ask is 
that I was just trying to run a job manually on "magners-orchestra" 
after a bit of digging I realized my issue stems from the fact I can't 
mount an ISO image because all the loop devices are in use.

I wasn't sure if this is a common thing, if I'm doing something wrong, 
or if this server is actually in a state that requires some attention. 
It looked like nagios is running, but I didn't really dig too far. It 
didn't seem like we were monitoring free loop devices from my skimming 
though.

So ... Is this something we should be monitoring? If so, here's
