[utah-devel] test cases

Devs,

We need to start ensuring that we add appropriate test cases to
the codebase as we make changes.  The project is starting to
get to a point where people are using it and reporting bugs and
requesting features.

Please include test cases or updates to existing test cases for
any non-trivial changes.

In addition, as you have time, please add test cases for the
features you've worked on.
